Eh? The Executive (of which only 52 were made) had a frame mounted
Rickman fairing. In black. Lester cast wheels are the other big
    giveaway.

ITYMM the LTD, in Custom Candy Brown, with gold rims.[/QUOTE]

....gold spokes, logos, pinstripes, gold-stamped owner's manual, leather key
fob and other cheesy tat. I'm afraid I'd plump for the handsome chunkiness
of the K3/K4/KZ, as ponced around on by Freddie on TOTP too many years ago.

My shoulder agrees with you. My knees are still hiding and have yet to
express an opinion. It didn't help when half way there other half
mutters 'I don't like doing long distances on this bike'. Grrr. He
could have told me just how fecking sore I was going to be.
I can't get enough power in the upswing atm. However ear clipping
skills should be functioning again by EOSM.

Heh, just riding my lad's NSR125 back from High Wycombe to Bicester
confirmed to me why I like lardy old barges
I'll keep my helmet on then

How heavy is your Guzzi, again?

    240kg? [1]

    About 20kg less than a GL1000.

That spec sheet has a fantastic quote about the V7 Sport but is
    applicable to most Guzzis:

"Slow in acceleration, but capable of maintaining very high speeds."

As to the weight, difficult to say really - book weight for a full on T3
is 243kg; a Le Mans weighs in at 196Kg.

As mine is a stripped down T3 I'd probably guess about 220Kg maybe a bit
    less.

The spoked wheels alone are bloody lighter than the original Le Mans cast
    wheels it had.

Rather unscientific I know but I had in one hand I had the alloy spoked
wheel with tyre; bearing carriers and twin discs the other the stripped
down (no discs; bearings or tyre) cast front - they felt about the same
    weight.

    Well, forty-odd thousand were, and 52 weren't.

    So you weren't far away.

K3, K4, KZ in Forn Partz. I like it too, as I've been mentioning in passing
    for a few years now...
