Drop the ugly black '80s add on fairing and it may look nice :)

Nigel Eaton was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    Vetter fairing, innit?
Well, for some strange reason I quite like the looks of the original
Goldwing, but I tend to prefer them without the plastics out front.

Do **** off. That's an (apparently) spotless Vetter Windjammer, /with
    lowers/. Classic, innit.

Ho yuss. Apparently, somebody might have hacked the lowers around to
make them fit a Glodwing-wiv-crashbars, but that's not the sort of
person we'd speak to, is it children?

    Zzzzzzzz-Zzzzzzz-ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Dremels rock.

Yeah, but you're an acknowledged weirdo, so your opinions don't really
    count.

It's got a back rest and a comfy seat. I understand the attraction of
    big tourers now.

<try to sit up and fail, consign myself to night of painkillers>

<maybe not hunching over the keyboard would help>

    <some of the bits that I hadn't realised were numb aren't anymore>

    Timo, don't listen to him.

I quite like the look of the older Goldwings without plastics.

  14. If I still had the CX, then I'd suggest putting the two next to
each other, photo op. like. And then posting the picture
    to uk.rec.barndoors

Eh? The Executive (of which only 52 were made) had a frame mounted
Rickman fairing. In black. Lester cast wheels are the other big
    giveaway.
