"Biker ploughs into three boys after 'idiotic' burnouts

the man rode his Harley into a pavilion being used as a bar.

For more than 30 seconds the rider completed several burnouts inside
the bar. Such was the degree of traction generated on the concrete
floor that palls of putrid smoke rapidly filled the venue, Mr Wallace
    said."

I suppose he must of seen the Purple Helmets DVD and thought he'd have
    a go on a Harley,

I expect it seemed like such a good idea at the time.
He just lost his grip, that's all.

There's no loss of traction involved in a wheelie
but plenty in a doughnut or static burnout.
What sort of Harley can wheelie anyway, especially in the southern
    hemisphere?

I'll ask my mate Paul Lewis, who's an Australian Harley nut[1].

[1] Ex-500GP rider, known to pull stonking wheelies on Harleys.

Has he still got the bet on offer where anyone who's not a racer (or has
been a racer) can take ANY bike around Cadwell and he'll beat them on a
    FatBoy or Road King thing?

Last I heard it was 20 grand to the winner.

    Mallory Park, to be precise.

I doubt if the challenge still holds as Lewie has moved back home to Oz
with his gorgeous missus. It's a damn shame cos I'd have the fucker on
my Bandit 600 and I reckon he moved back to Oz cos he knew that.
