    S'weird though, because if you think of bikes as such a utilitarian
    form of transport then that's fair enough, but in that case why do you
    subscribe to a motorcycle newsgroup?

    It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
    Ikwym. As a Scot here, people quite often ask me if I know the Scottish
    bloke down the road from wherever I happen to be working.
    No.... I certainly don't; and he doesn't know me, probably for the same
    reasons.
