Looking at his other items, would you give him 2 grand for a Honda C92 ?.
My guess is no bids on all 3 items.

"I rode this bike to Portugal and back with no problems and had a fabulous
    trip."

    It's fucked then :)

Those carbon end cans look so wrong on that bike.

  7. feckin' shiny, mind. Too shiny, really, it's been restored to within an
inch of its life, I'd be scared to ride it in case it got dusty.

This is why the bikes I most enjoy riding are rust or scuffed and have
    cracked plastics.

Perhaps I could interest you in a nicely broken-in VFR?

They're like soft, really low-melting-point metals. Well, some of
    them.

  16. Aye, I remember a Plastic Pig that had stopped at a pedestrian crossing,
    and the following motorist didn't...

Large shards of GRP littered everywhere, just as if a bomb had gone off in it.

There was one that caught fire in Budleigh Salterton a while back. Leaving
a chassis and a whole lot of stuff that the fire brigade, who hadn't quite
got there in time, were sweeping up with brooms.

  18. they do burn quite well. We once disposed of a couple of surplus body
shells like that - dragged 'em to the middle of the yard, lit a fire with a
bit of paraffin and some rags in one footwell. For a few minutes nothing
much happened and then the fibreglass resin caught and in about another 2
minutes you couldn't get within 20 feet of it.

Made a lovely column of smoke, too. Nowadays, you'd doubtless get arrested
    for it.
