An idea as mad as any I've ever had

Right, a week come Saturday (11th August) I'm picking up a nice, shiny, new
Aprilia RSV-1000R from Newcastle.

Unfortunately it's not the good Newcastle, the one 10 miles from me, but the
*other* Newcastle which is in damn Staffordshite.

Fortunately I'm being dropped off there by Mrs R on her way to her mothers,
with child and dogs, which means that it doesn't really matter if I make it
home that night.

So ... I was thinking, that as I need a few A-road miles to run the beasty
in, whether anybody between Newcastle-under-Lyme and Aylesbury fancied
putting me up on Saturday night and whether any of the old guard would fancy
either a BOTAFOT or lunch in Stratford (or both) on the Sunday.

Actually, what would be *ideal* is if somebody could put me up on the Sunday
night as well, then I could call in at Newcastle (the crap one, again) for
its 600 mile service on the way back up the country.

I appreciate that the chances of me finding 2 ukrmers who like me *and*
putting 600 miles on a bike in 2.5 days *and* not stacking it are
vanishingly small, but you have to admit that it's a good plan.

So, who's playing?
