    Texas!

Nah we can fit Texas into a small corner of Alberta. Maybe since we
have so much in common with Texas we will annex it. ;-)

Great! You have some awesome pics of the Rockies.
And btw, isn't it actually "Far North Texas"? <g>

    Thanks for the ride-along. :)

    Great pictures Don,

The wife and I spent 3 1/2 years in Anchorage, Alaska back in the mid to
late 60's while I was in the Air Force. Although we have lots of forests,
rivers and lakes here in Michigan, we both miss the mountains. My wife has
issued me strict instruction to let her know when ever you post pictures,
lol. She'll stand over my sholder and coment how one will look 'exactlly
like' the road from Anchorage to Seward. Or another will look like exactlly
like the Willow area where we went to the winter carnival. I don't know what
I like best, the 'old memories', or her warm breath on my neck and ear, lol.
Thanks again for posting them Don.

    Best regards,

    Vic

Uh, not likely. The Republic of Texas is not just some piddlin' state. As
a Canadian friend of mine once said, "Alberta is a northern most province of
Texas and Edmonton is just an extension of Ft. Worth." :)
You do good work. Keep it up.

I am glad to hear my pictures are enhancing your relationship with
    your wife. <g>

In a couple of weeks I am taking a four day ride through the mountains
and the interior of BC to Osoyoos. Stay tuned for the pictures from
    that run.

You might want to check the links posted in RGD's signature. He did
the Alaska run a couple of seasons ago and I think the link to his
pics are still in his sig.

  12. If Ontario elects those Liberals back into office yet again, maybe
Alberta will seceed from Canada and begin considering offers.

Texas might be interested in our oil reserves, the size of what the
    Saudis have.

Well not wanting to drag local politics into the Texan's group my only
comment to the thought of the Liberals being re-elected is:

    AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Nah, think of how much more affluent this province would become if we
were not funneling billions of bucks to the feds every year. Let's
keep all of that greasy black stuff to ourselves.
