Of course, some don't agree. AndrewR thinks it's the most painful bike
he's ever sat on, but that's probably even more in its favour :) I'll
be interested to hear your opinions.

    Y'know, I really don't understand that - I mean, his regular bike is a
toy 600, so the gixxer should have been fine for him. Maybe he's
    deformed.

everyone's different - Porl finds his 'blade uncomfortable, I think
    mine's fine.

Yebbut, this is the weirdo who finds a Blade uncomfortable[1].

[1] Can't say myself, I've never ridden a Blade of any age.

I've ridden Porl's, and it was as comfortable as a feather bed, floating on
a lake of warm milk. What he really wants is a Gilera DNA

presumably you hang around with freaks similar to yourself. I think
    mine's fine.
I rode a Gixer for about 15 minutes - I can't remember much about it.
I rode 4000 miles through France and Italy on my SZR ffs, and I can't
remember if that even *has* a seat.

Admitedly, at the end of each day I couldn't stand up straight or walk
properly for a couple of hours after getting off the bike.

But yours is older. Mine was supposed to be more track orientated so I think
they may be different. Plus, you have a well fat arse.

It felt like the Gixer had high pegs, set further back, which just seemed to
bend my knees more than was comfortable. Everything else about it was fine
though, but it really was agony sitting on it.

Don't forget that the ZX-6R is quite a bit bigger than its contemporaries in
the class, which makes it more comfortable. I had cramp in my left leg
after only a couple of miles on Ginge's R6.
    Well dur!

of course I sat on it. And on Simian's 7RR. Didn't feel the urge to
    try mups' bus.

WTF would you know about it?

Pull a minger on them and they come up slowly, almost reluctantly at first,
then suddenly past a certain critical point they go ape. R1 linear they
    ain't.
Go in super late on the brakes and you will find out the no.1 limitation
(IMHO). AP conversions to the 4, K3-4 included (1).

Then again with both wheels on the deck it'll ride around an pre '04 R1(2).
They seem to be much better at getting the power down out of the apex.

    (1) opinions of those far better than me
    (2) of which I know nothing but hearsay
