I'd love to ride a ZRX round a track.

I'll just chime in here and agree. They really are fantastically good
at touring, as well as being (obviously) great sportsbikes
You say that like it's a bad thing.

My question is would you like to buy a zrx and ride it around a track or are
you simply saying you'd like to ride any zrx around a track for the hell of
    it?

I was under the impression that Porl wanted a sports bike.

Well, I'd have a Zed Thou over a ZRX, but if it were my onlybike (not
outside the bounds of possibility), I'd definitely track day it.

And I'd like to ride somebody else's ZRX round a track.

    One with comfort, I read.

The ZX10 has higher pegs than my old R6, and a firm seat.

    a) can't afford it right now
    b) buying 3 other bikes first.

Dunno if you've actually tried a gixxer thou, or how many times you've
been told this, but you really must give one a go. Champ and I (and
others) have both done reasonable (or unreasonable, in his case)
amounts of touring on them and found them well up to the task. I was
astonished to find that I actually find it at as comfortable as the
Triumph for long-distance work, and much more so when you want to give
    it a bit of welly.

OK, so it's a lardy old sports-tourer compared with the new Kwaondaha
offerings, but it's not _too_ slow for us old farts ;-)
