Agree about Mick Matheson, though; he hasn't got Wootton's juvenile
streak, but he needs to learn that not bikemags read better when they
don't come across like a direct transcript of a pub conversation among a
group of brickie's labourers...

It must have happened Monday or Tuesday because I spoke to him at
Winton last Sunday and there was nothing to suggest he was "moving
on".

The ppl who told me were very surprised and they had only just heard
it. That was Friday lunchtime - 2 days ago. They also knew Mick
Matheson had been appointed which suggests that ACP top ppl made the
decision and carried it out Tuesday/Wednesday after deadline.
