Yeah, I noticed that as well. Still makes the same sort of bhp/litre
    as your average Harley.

    "Much"

I just hope someone's fixed the clutch because it was slipping like
mad when I got shot. And apparently it's only done 5k miles in 6
    years.

    Aye, the shame of it.

I'm wondering whether I should correct him when he says it's never
been crashed in the questions. Does being ridden into the side of a
Mondeo at 50 odd count as a crash? Or being sent down the road twice
due to the owner before me[1] over cooking it on bends.

The fairing on it is the one I fitted I think and the screen, the tank
and seat unit have either been replaced or resprayed since though.

Na, it was lovely when I had it. Pucker Yamaha paint job and
immaculately clean. My mate did a superb rebuild on it after he
    crashed it.

    Then I crashed it.

    Ben scribbled:
Is it definitely your bike and that was the buyer who bought it off
you? If yes I can email ebay and tell them that that buyer is
    attempting to defraud buyers.

It's got the same reg as my old bike and I've spotted a couple of
things on it that I fitted. It was actually the owner of the bike
before me who spotted it on Ebay. But it's not the person I sold it
    to.

He probably isn't intentionally defrauding. I part-ex'd it at
Streetbike in Halesowen against the SV in May 2000. According to a
vehicle check the last change on owner was in 2002. So it looks like
there has been at least one owner in between him and me. It's likely
he doesn't know anywhere near the full history of the bike.

Anyways, I'm going to email him tonight and fill him in a bit. It'll
then be up to him what he tells prospective purchasers.
