I've just been teaching my housemate's 12 year old daughter how to pick
    locks.

  2. Actually, that's something my brother is really keen to learn. How
    does one go about it?

Youtube has some very instructional videos. I was taught years ago by
    one of my sister's exes.

saw some Dutch made short movie a few years back about how to open
doors with a shortened down key and a sharp tap with a hammer, very
    scary

The kind of locks that are fitted to these doors on never houses are utter
crap. All the scrotes need is some mole grips & they are in. Average time 5
    seconds.

I fit some mega sucure ones & door jams inside.

  10. Bumping Yale locks. Amazingly simple, once you see how.

We did a job a few years ago that was amassive block of flats in
Huddersfield where the local authority house scumbags & asylum seekers etc.
The kind of **** that lives there won't let you in to fit smoke detectors
etc. So we got a coulrt order graning us access. We even had a locksmith
provided by the council. He didn't need any keys, he just kicked every door
in one place & ping it opened :)

That was a very eye opening job I can tell you. In fact it made me quite sad
to see the conditions some people bring up children in. Also it made me
quite sad to see the conditions that some people make children in.

That's called bumping, it works on most front door Yale locks.
