It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like: And not for want of trying, either. -- Dave GS 850 x2 / SE 6a SbS#6 DIAABTCOD#16 APOSTLE#6 FUB#3 FUB KotL OSOS#12? I didn't think Vol 1 that special. But I'm off to see Vol 2 on Thurs. Top tip.... Go to a weekday 11 am showing, your own private cinema.
I haven't seen either. Just never got round to it. There's a compound down the road from my office. Looks really plush. Every villa has a pool, and there's a shared cinema. How cool is that?
Aint that the truth? I fancied some Sidi Courier Boots. No Chance. Size 12 and the calf straps didnt come close to closing. I tried some Altbergs at a show. I was impressed, but they got nowhere near fitting my calves. The waiting list was rather long I thought. Then a friend of mine had a horrendous customer service episode with them so I gave up the idea. -- ColonelTupperware spouting bollocks on Usenet since 1997 Usenet FAQ at http://www.its.caltech.edu/its/services/internetapps/news/news2.shtml UPCE FAQ at http://upce.org.uk/ UKRM FAQ at http://www.ukrm.net/faq/
I prefer "forthright". It very rare that I'm intentionally offensive on Usenet. Of course, my comments aren't always intended to be found amusing by those they're directed at, and so some unintentional offense is bound to be taken by a certain type of poster. quite.
See the link I posted elsewhere in this thread. Marriage exemptions only seem to apply to cases involving children, but not in any way that makes sense to my eyes.
Me neither, but I wanted to see 2 to complete the story. May as well have had my own last night. There was only 5 people in there.
They didn't meet your requirements. For not trying on the boots in the first place before ordering them. [snip] Again, for ordering boots you have never tried on. [snip] cos' I enjoyed it. [snip] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Oh well, your cash I suppose.
I quite liked the "comedy" violence of the first, and so long as you're happy that it's not real, both are very entertaining. The only thing that gets me slightly is that the Tarantino-monologue in Vol.2 doesn't seem to fit the character of the character that does it. It knocked me back from the story-world I was in while watching the film to the cinema seat I was in IRL.
Depends what you're looking for. It wasn't the gorefest of number 1, it was storytelling. I though that the film flowed well, there is less action than KB1, but the action is no less. I think it was a good way to end the story, and I enjoyed the film.
Na, don't get me wrong, I thought the film itself was well made and the story good. I just thought that 2 films were unnecessary. There were conversations in the second one that just seemed to go on and on and yet never actually tell you anything. And the ending was a bit odd imo, it was a bit too "happily ever after". The film should win an award for "Best Eyebrows In A Motion Picture" though.
