Does everybody know everyone on this group, except me? I think I'm the only
one posting to this group that don't know anyone personally.

And another thing, when I do post I just get loads of abuse and sick
    jokes.............
    ............. luv it :)

No but having bikes means it is easy for us to go visiting when we feel
    the need.

No. But there aren't many. If you want to see a few faces then go on a
few runs, attend a few beer evenings or mention that insurance companies
are on our side. Remember to stand upwind though.

It is because we like the world to think that we are all rufty tufty
biker types so they don't **** with us. It works too.

It's for the best - there are only two other people here anyway - one is
a frog and the other is darsy, and you wouldn't want to meet either of
    them.

Yeah but be careful you don't go to far, by this I mean that 2 months ago I
was wondering if anyone here actually had a bike or if it was a gay group
with just the leathers (cap and hotpants)

But this myth was soon dispelled by the presence of great (bike) knowledge.

  15. Please tell me you don't wear a cap and hotpants.

I don't have a problem with anyone being gay,
but there are limits, FFS :)

Oh, no, I have a lot of baseball caps though - but I've never understood
clearly what hotpants are supposed to be! :)

I think the FAQ give the definitive answer on this:

    5. How do I avoid being flamed?
In short, you can't but you won't get flamed unless:

    (a) you deserve it
    (b) you post to the group
    (c) you can take it
    (d) you post to the group
