I'll be there by late morning. I'll look in at the Palm bar at lunch time.

From Euston, go to King's Cross on either the Victoria or Northern line.
(One will probably have an easier interchange than the other).
From King's Cross, get the Piccadilly Line to Wood Green.
Get the W3 bus up the hill to Ally Pally.

It's not far - it's just up a fucking great hill.

In fact, if you're going to walk up the hill, you'll be better
off going to Alexandra Palace overground station from King's Cross
    as it's a bit closer.

  7. Buy one day travelcard for zones 1-4
Take any Northbound Victoria Line train to Finsbury park. This is 3
stops and takes about 10 mins or so.
Cross over to the opposite platform and take any Northbound Piccadilly
Line train to Wood Green station. That's another 3 stops and takes 7
    minutes.
Outside the station look for Station Road - it's diagonally opposite the
station which is on one corner of a big junction.

Walk across to Station Road and look for a bus stop for the W3 bus -
make sure the stop is for Alexandra Palace and not White Hart Lane.
Don't know if there are free shuttle buses this year but they go from
the same stop. If the W3 comes along your travelcard ticket is valid on
it so just show the driver. If the shuttle coach comes along just get
    on.

To get home do the reverse of the above but make sure you head
    Southbound on the Tube.

That's the way I'll be going, for the same reason as Daz.

For the non-show goers (those there just for the beer and curry) what
time at the Palm Court Bar?
