Only thing I found that has a chance of working without busting your
foofoo valve is from the same guys who make truck wash , a pink fluid
that brushes on and with some light scrubbing will chemically clean the
crap off , why was it left out side ? ( mines under cover alongside the
    Buel)

If its shiny alloy... lots of hard work....

If its sandcast stuff, go the Phosphoric acid - but be careful - any
    magnesium castings tend to ignite.

    Degrease beforehand anyways.

    Cheers,

  8. Yep, CT12 is the stuff. Clean the engine first of any oil/grease, spray the
engine with a dilute mixture of CT12 and water, then let it froth up(if it
doesnt froth up on the alloy it's too dilute) give it a scrub then hose it
off to remove the stuff, maybe even sponge it off at the same time to avoid
streaks. Oil/grease will block the CT12 from working on the alloy.
