  7. Nice. I'd get that seat professionally re-done, if it as mine, because
it just isn't as nice as the rest of it (pix 6 and 7 show it up). Try RK
    Leighton in Birmingham.

    Taking it to Chimay, then?

    On Fri, 8 Jul 2005 20:05:16 +0100,
That's the plan, as soon as I can work out how to fit my tent, s'bag,
    etc. to it.

  9. *Blue* bump-stop rubbers?

And, naughty Dodger for leaving the sidestand down when it's
    on the centre-stand -- it's too easy to forget. I know it's got Honda's
flip-up rubber extension, but that didn't always work.

    The *noise* is even better.

I can see why the fuel consumption's awful: the fighter pilot
    soundtrack is addictive.

  13. Imagine the power it could have made if they were able to use
rational placement of the carbs/inlets for the outer cylinders.

  14. Not much more. The cylinder head design is pretty restrictive, actually.

  15. <Bad form>

And a surprising number of Jap bikes of that era had angled inlets
anyway. Take a look at a few SOHC Honda fours...
