I'm tempted by a fetching Speed Triple that has had some Akropovic
underseat cans fitted. The pillion pegs have been removed to fit the
cans and I can't get a convincing answer about the ability to fit some
aftermarket pegs for the pillion. SWMBO will not accept a light trim in
the legs department so pegs will be required apparently.

Has anyone any experience of these cans that might be able to advise?

The bike can be seen at www.rsmotorcycles.co.uk/pages/TRIUMPH7.html

Ugh! Even *I* wouldn't buy that and I'm the guy who bought an SV1000! The
view from the front makes it look utterly shit - and it's pink (not trying
to tell us summat are you?)

Actually it is "Nuclear Red"... Which is Triumph speak for BGN pink....

Also, ISTR that having a pillion seat and no pegs = no MoT, so he'll need
the shop to fit the std can and/or the pillion pegs and/or a single seat
unit to make it (technically) road legal...

Mr Brain, I suggest you do a swift 180 and avoid this POS at all costs,
especially at that price. What's it really worth (1) maybe £2k? It's
had a front end wipe out, do you know if the frame has been replaced?
    bit quirky those are.
They have a yellow 955 Sprint which looks like a much better bet and
    cheaper.

    (1) Yeah ok "what some fool is prepared to pay for it"
