Still there, one's looking a bit shabby now. The other is privately
owned and has been nicely restored.

 

Last time I was there (about '92), GM Leasing, iirc, had the use of one
- I think they were using it as a storage area for vehicles. I suppose
that's the one that's been tarted up.

when I send them back

I'll send at least one over fairly soon. I don't need or use all that
many of them atm - these are for personal use.

 

My mate Niall Rowan has conducted fire tests on full-size buildings
inside one of those sheds.

They have indoor model aircraft flying championships in them too, IIRC.

I've still not got around to copying them to video either, and probably

This reminds me that a few days ago, someone tried to send me an email
about a total internet connectivity outage.

 

No hurry. I watched this Sunday's, and absolutely wallowed in the
archive footage and CGI imgaery of the Hunderburg.

Shame there was no real mention of the R100, though - arguably the
greatest airship ever built.

 

That was covered in episode 2.
