Ahhh...

    ....that's better.

    Just got back in having tested the bike, post me finally getting round to
    stuffing the end can with a load of exhaust wading.

    It still sounds deeper than a standard can, but it's now quiet enough for me
    to consider it something I can ride everyday, rather than only when my ears
    have recovered from the last time I rode it.

    Given it's slippery out there, and my visor kept misting up, I didn't get a
    chance to see if it has reduced the top end or not, but if it has... well I
    can live with that more than I can live without a licence.

    It'll do, anyway - until I can afford that Pan European I keep hankering
    for, anyway. :)

    *shrug*

    I don't like them when they're deafening.

    Nor did the copper who pulled me for speeding on the VFR, who, when I
    enquired as to when they'd first spotted me, replied 'We heard you before we
    saw you, and knew you wouldn't disappoint!'

    To be fair, he didn't even mention it was a race can, never mind book me for
    it.
