I often passed the shop when I was working in Reading a couple of years ago.
Very small second-hand bike shop. They had a couple of V-Maxes.
Treat it like a private seller and don't expect any after-sales service
and you won't go far wrong.

I wasn't planning on buying anything. I've got to say that their prices
suggest an established business with thorough after-sales and spares
    backup. They ain't cheap!

It must all go on rent for their enormous premises:

I really wish someone would bring out a proper 70's style 2-stroke with
none of this 'tuned for grunt' bollocks. I think the closest you can
get these days are the Husky WR's, but even they've been tamed now.

It's a nice little bike. Worth a grand any day of the week.

The SDR was basically a slightly detuned MX engine in a very basic but
good handling chassis. The engine was barking mad for a late 80s 200cc
2-stroke single, being even wilder than the KMX lump - a proper screamer
