Aftermarket Ignition for '84 XV-1000

    Does anybody make an aftermarket ignition module for a 1984 Yamaha
    XV-1000 Virago? I'm not looking for turning my bike into a racing
    bike, but I think my ignition module may be going bad. I really
    don't want to replace a 20yr old module with another 20yr old module.

    I would rather pay more and get a newer unit than get one that might be
    20 years old. The capicitors inside will dry out on the shelf too,
    maybe just not as quickly.

    This website "looks" like these might be NOS, but just factory direct.
    Can anyone confirm that these are not old stock items?
