They are indeed Brembos. Although not currently needed as pressing the
starter button results in a 'click', and no whirring action.

R45, one of the most awful bikes ever conceived and it wore a single ATE. At
least it wasn't that fsking beastly offset cam abortion.

 

Well it doesn't appear to have been ridden far, or it's been clocked, or
ridden with a broken speedo cable, or something. It's only got 18K miles
on it.

 

If they seem poor BMW do a master cylinder service kit (it's been sitting a
while).
The calipers are a doddle to strip out and clean.
With good hoses and pads it should stop ever so smartly.
