    I went to school with a Whitcombe. He had quite an impressive area, for
    his height - but he was about as aerodynamic as a bumble bee in reverse.
    He flew badly off the top board into the pool - so badly, in fact, that
    we had to try again to see if the second impact would actually empty the
    pool. It didn't, and then the ball went home. Boo!
