I simply don't understand how those prices can be for a pair of tyres.
Even adding on VAT makes it unfeasibly cheap.

It's right by the dealer who tried to sell my K1100 so not far from Spete.
Perhaps he or Flook could drop by and gauge whether it's for real or not.

  5. I'm pretty certain a Michelin rear just about hits £90 at trade price
    for small dealers

That's about right, but at times they offload old stock at fucking silly
prices. When I was with a certain large distributor we were selling a
matched pair of Michelin Hi-Sports or Macadams for something like 50
quid to any dealer, large or small.

I got a pair of rear Avon II 's and a front Avon III for £159 just before
Xmas from some online tyre place whose name escapes me at the moment.

The Azaro 2 rear will last 5 minutes, but the Azaro 3 45/46ST are
brilliant. I know this because I had both on this ZZR11.

Well I've got two, so hopefully they're last at least ten minutes. These are
    the chaps :

Right, given that my Gixxer is nearing the point at which it will be
re-shod, what is the NG choice of tyres.
Use is likely to be track days and dry road use with unexpectedly wet (long)
rides home and no mechnical sympathy.
I'm thinking Rennsports but....and what are the current designations.

As you know, I used Rennsports for a while, and was generally
impressed. The extra grip isn't really necessary on the road (over
something like a BT010), but they do work very well on a track day,
whereas you *will* cook a road tyre on the track in short order with a
gixxer. I also found the Rennsports surprisingly good in cold and wet
    condtions on the road.

But - it's a while since I've looked at the market, and things move
on. Bridgestone have a new sports tyre out (BT012 ?), so I'm not sure
    what I would go for.

We could try making a new one. How about 'flidy' as in "but they're not
on his flidy list". Works quite well I think.

    Fairly versatile as well.

  13. According to the TV the other night NAFF was from the San Francisco gay
scene and meant Not Available for F*cking or Fornication.

OEM on the K3 model, with an 011 on the front (or vice versa, I can
    never remember which is which).
