about to get a motorbike, probably a 600 or thereabouts
looking to travel across the M62 once or twice a week, other times shortish,
about 14 miles round trip to work. some recreation driving.

not looking for a sporty number, just a good comfortable, get me there type.

    will be a new model

    Any suggestions out there?

    Many thanks

Having owned a Bandit before the present SV, I could recomend either.
TBH from what you've said, the Bandit would probably be most worth
    looking at - faired.

Do you need a bike for that. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just walk across the
    bridge.

You won't get an argument from me on that one, but you could have
    expected that.

It's usually the first one suggested. They are not becoming lardy old
