An ETZ 125 is cheap, quirky looking [1], reliable, disc braked and would
have enough performance to cope with a 13st, 6'2" bod.

A grand will pick up something in very good order.

They do need a bit more maintenance than the equivalent Jap bike but its
not difficult, they're sturdy things with pretty good build quality and a
very basic toolkit will suffice for day to day stuff [2].

I thrashed an early 6v MZ 150 to Germany and back, 1100 miles, in a
    weekend.

    [1] Read ugly/striking/handsome/odd as applicable
Best picture I can come up with

[2] If it still has the toolkit that comes with the bike that'll see
    you right for most jobs.

No problems. Although I must confess to disliking, intensely, text
    speak. M8.

Especially when we all, pretty much, have fully serviceable keyboards and
are not restricted to a set number of characters.

However, grammar and spelling are different matters altogether....

    Sorry for the missunderstanding m8
Well I wasn't actually apologising to you hehe but never mind, I'll refrain
from using text speak since I know it aggravates people

You have no idea how hard it is for me, to restrain myself from giving you
an *uber* dose of 1337 speak, but I'll be the bigger man. Sweller put his
point across perfectly, you are just a twit.

Its easy top is the oldest bottom is the newest, the arrows represent how
many times it has been replied too, plus its obvious using the language I
presented because I referred to sweller, there was only one other person I
could be replying to with the negative aspect of my post: Mr deadmail. If I
need to label everything then just say, I've been posting on this newsgroup
for under a day and I don't know everything to keep everyone happy, if there
is a faq point me in the direction of it rather than going all medieval on
    my ass.

Not so much a matter of aggravates but more a case of wholly
inappropriate for the medium. This is Usenet, it has rules and
    conventions all of it's own.

For the record, it pisses me off greatly.

    You thick, thick ****.

Who wrote what? In my post here we can see what you wrote, compare it
    to your posts now.

And re posting for under a day; didn't you think to lurk first? Or hunt
    down the FAQ before posting?

    REMUS:
How am I thick, common sense denominates what and who I was replying to, I
don't know if your newsreader thing automatically labels the post, but mine
(outlook express) doesn't. And no I didn't think about finding an FAQ
because I've never posted on a newsgroup before, it only came to me when I
posted that reply and my big bro advised me after I was speaking to him
about getting a 125cc and my replies here.
