    Hi,

    My chain was rather (OK, very) slack so I've adjusted it, but not
    having done it before I have no real 'feel' for whether it's right.

    I have about half and inch of movement in the middle of the long bit;
    that's half an inch from the top to the bottom of its travel, not half
    an inch either way.

    Do you reckon this is OK ? I ask because the suspension is fairly
    soft on these bikes and I wondered if half an inch was enough.

    Cheers

    I'd go for an inch, meself. That's with the bike on the sidestand,
    after bouncing the suspension. Better a bit loose than too tight,
    mind.

    You may find a handy reference sticky label on the swinging arm, right
    next to the chain that gives the measurement and how to take it.

    Thanks guys....probably a bit tight then. I'll slacken it off a tad
    tomorrow.

    Cheers
