Anyone had any luck in lowering the ride height say 25 mm?

I know a person who needs this done, due to being vertically challanged.

    Cheers.

It would be a damn sight cheaper to get the person's boots built up - even a
quarter-inch thicker soles makes big difference. Person could also get the
    seat made a bit narrower.

Well, I must thank you ALL for your SMART replies, as I do not see ONE reply
    that actually answers the question.

    Thanks again to you ALL...

Actually there was a suggestion to alter the seat width... that is more
sensible than reducing the ride height (seriously).

Reducing the ride height adversly effects the cornering clearence.

Also as well as reducing the seat width (which allows straitening the
legs) one can reduce the amount of seat padding.

And come to think of it, the ZX12 has adjustable ride height, so drop it
to the lowest setting and slide the forks through 5mm to compensate the
change in rake (although given how twitchy they are stock you might not
    want to).

Can i suggest, as another shortarse, that "your friend" try the stock
bike with the preload on its softest setting (because it usually takes a
month or so for the suspension to settle in then you can add a bit of
preload back in) he or she should be able to tiptoe it if they're on the
higher side of 5 foot (under that then see terry hays et al), the ZX12
is pretty ducks disease friendly as far as hyper sports go
