The forks on my FZR aren't adjustable. If I could get a set of fork caps
(the ones that screw onto the top) from another bike that are adjustable,
would this add a certain amount of adjustabilty to my forks, or does this
    all sound too easy?

I presume that adjustable fork tops are tighting or loosened to decide how
much preload is already placed on the spring, so it should work the same if
I just pop some different caps on?

I know it probably won't make much difference to handling anyway, but the
real reason is that the cap on the right leg is quick chewed up, so it
doesn't look to good, and I can only find adjustable ones.

I may have a good set of fixed caps in about another week or so, if you
    can hang on until then?

Cool, it's only cosmetic, so I'm in no rush...

Those fork caps are available now. If you can hold on, I could bring
them to BOSM if you're coming? Alternatively, mail me with a postal
address, and I'll send them to you.

    Yep... :-/

It was from my Pipex e-mail which some people have trouble receiving, so I
    could try via hotmail...

Ok, that's a bit strange though.

You could try replacing the tallbloke.net bit with rulex.net too if you
    want.
