[...] Yeah, quite the hoot! But, by most Japanese service manuals of the time, Honda's were pretty good. Having cut my teeth on Nip bike manuals, I've seen the worst. Kawasaki manuals were pretty bad. It was a real pain to see a reference to diagram/picture No. n and discover the actual graphic was switched with another 6 pages over. Bridgestone manuals were all but unreadable, by anyone. Yamaha manuals were some of the best. Ah, the memories. nb
So were the owner's manuals. I had a '79 Kz550, and the part that covered rear shock adjustment said (almost verbatim) "Please adjustment equally to avoid evil machine over the bump". No shit! Ken Ishiguro
