Tight Fit's was not the original version. Roy Ward drummer and singer of
City Boy was the singer on Tight Fit's version - although it wasn't him
miming on TOTP :) Roy lives locally and has been involved as drummer in a
couple of band projects I was also involved in.

  8. But probably best known in the UK for "Lazyitis" by Happy Mondays, in
which he duetted with Shaun Ryder, a long-time fan.

There's a brief clip of him yodelling in the film "24 Hour Party People"
(the fictionalised story of Tony Wilson and Factory Records).

I remember the Karl Denver Wimohweh version, and as a four year old or
thereabouts it was definitely a favourite of mine.... at the time :) And,
yes, I still remember it as being the best version amongst many.
