Some 11 months ago I posted about this stuff that I was put onto.I
didn't know at the time that I has actually used it before as it was
not a commercial product(I only used it on Military Aircraft).

The cynics and the NobHeads did their usual crap e.g,"Snake-oil" etc.

    It's not.

I work in the Aircraft Industry and this stuff is the best
    anti-corrosion/lubricant/Chain lubricant/cable lubricant/bolt
    re-build/garage your bike for winter/un-seize bearings/re-innsulate
wiring etc etc Blah Blah Blah and now the it's gaining the qualified
    recognition it deserves.

In my case this poor sad"F**K" frame that I got an engine out of for
me CX was left in me garage but treated,on-trust,with ACF50 in Sept
    2004.

    http://www.sheppola.karoo.net/lazold.jpg
is a picture taken last week after over 9 months in a damp metal
Garage.Corrosion was halted at time of application.

The frame has not altered in any form of corrosion since the day of
application and I am now in the process of renovating said frame and
    bike.

I post this merely for archival purposes and to hope it helps,"All"
bikers get some of this stuff as it's not expensive nor is it
    cheap,it's just good.

It's a special Ultra fine abrasive cloth used in the Aircraft industry
mainly on Fighter Aircraft and Helos Canopies. It comes in the ultra
fine grades as posts from 1200 up to I think 5,000.

I can't tell you the military names but there are commercial versions,

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=ultra+fine+abrasive+cloth&spell=1

As in polishing lenses etc.Can usually be used,""Wet-or-Dry".

    HTH :)

    PS

Looked up Helos canopies online and found some interesting info, not as
    intriguing as http://www.elchineroconcepts.com/A6 Incident.htm

Write up from Pilot and Nav on their situation
Looks like a real life tale of an in flight cock-up. As good as any fiction.

    Made Oi shudder

I saw some ACF50 at an aircraft trade show a couple of years ago, and
thought that it would be good stuff to put on a bike. I was more
interested in looking at the diesel aero engines at the time.

I bought my corrosion block grease from them. It's made by the same
company(Lear Jet) who make ACF50.I also bought an emergency Cable
    kit.Well worth having :)
