    Hi,

    Who wants to settle an argument:

    "ace high, low takes"

    or

    "ace high, high takes"

    Google has zero hits for both.

    Stonge emerged from their own little world to say
    When cutting cards to decide who goes first etc there is no set rule IME.
    The rule is negotiated before the cut.

    It depends on what card game you are playing and where you are playing
    it.
    In my cribbage league, its Ace High, Low Takes, which is fairly normal
    for crib.

    It really doesnt matter as long as the ground rules are agreed before
    play.
