Hopefully if I do people like you won't bother.

Anyway, isn't there a nice safe car newsgroup you can post to?

....or as a dangerous alternative you could go to the building with the
    letters P.O.S.T.O.F.F.I.C.E on it.

You should steer well clear of beds then, most people die in bed.

That costs money, and is unreliable. The UR is free, and unreliable.

I've only had things "lost in the post" when I didn't actually put them
    "in the post".

Those who staff the post offifces seem to have lost the plot though. The one
local to me has a face like a bulldog (in fact, she looks just like the dog
on the Churchill advert) and an attitude to customers to match the face. I
watched her watch an old geezer take a package all the way through the
zig-zag/winding line to get to the weighing point where she told him "That's
too big for us to handle, you'll have to go tot the main PO".

She could've said that when the bloke walked into the PO but she didn't
    bother.

But you can't do right for doing wrong in that situation.

Go past an accident as if it's not happened and some Plod **** will be on TV
that night saying how dangerous people drove past as if nothing had
happened, yet slow down and some Plod **** will be on TV that night telling
the world that traffic ground to a halt because dangerous people slowed down
    to rubber-neck.
