    I own four motorbikes.

    One is in pieces (CD)
    One is in Cambridge (B12)
    One is SORN (VFR)
I went to work on the CBR.

At work, I organised a new insurance policy starting today covering the
three main bikes: 720 quid. Organised a policy covering the CD: 50
    quid.

On the way home from work the CBR got a puncture, and I had to be
brought home by the RAC. I won't have time to get the tyre replaced
    until Saturday week.

So I'll be going to Croydon every day by train.

    Am I the new Timo?

So I have to ride the Blade down to you, then you have to ride me home.
    Doesn't sound too bad.

There if you want it mate.

    I don't feel lucky, tbh.
Not without an insurance certificate I can't.

True. I want to ride everything you've got (tm) and this seems like a
    good start.
Cheers. I'll call you tomorrow, when I know the true horror of Connex
    South Central.

Don't you have a decent tubless repair kit FFS
Unless it's holed through the sidewall or a tear it works fine. Replace the
    tyre at your leisure thereafter.

It's not an endorsable offence to ride without.

    Of course not!
Ok, that would be good, as the tyre is only 500 miles old.

    Something like Tyreweld, yeah?

Isn't it? It will only be a week or so until I'll be able to tax it.

I dunno, I am still having trouble with the concept of you and work.

I am sort of lucky me coz at least I have the job of wrecking the boy's
cage to console me while bikeless

    NO!
The kind where you put a plug in from the outside covered in glue. Keep one
    under your seat!

A tyre dealer can do it in a better way too, from the inside. for a 500 mile
    tyre it's worth it.

    Just ride it, then.

If you get pulled, just explain that you're waiting for the insurance
    certificate.

You might get a producer, but by then you'll have tax.

I rode for about 4 years without tax, until a traffic warden finally did
    me for it.

    A fine of course.
Don't be tempted to run in London with the disk from another bike. They ****
you over big time for that. N.Brown label and the glass covered in road dirt
    should suffice )

I'm actually quite good at it.
    I missed this.

Why are you bikeless? You posted a while ago about what bike to get
next? What's going on? Come round for a chat - you can make your own
    tea and everything.
