I always drove whenever possible when I lived with my ex, cos she was
almost fucking blind and couldn't see over the steering wheel, as well
as just being a generally clueless and dangerous driver. If she drove
when I couldn't, then I'd spend the whole journey looking out of the
side window, turned around talking to the kids or with my head in the
footwell.

Well in my case my wife prefers me to drive as she commutes in the car
and drives all day while I use a push-bike and train and sit at a desk.

Personally I find driving cars infuriating and prefer not to.

My wife prefers me to drive, as she's never learned to drive herself.

I can enjoy driving a car, although this sometimes upsets my passengers.
