The only difference I can see between these examples is that WAC is
pronounceable whereas USMC isn't.

But I thought that the definition of an ACRONYM as being a pronounceable
abbreviation had already been discounted in this thread.

 

I prolly have a jaundiced view of Des ATM due to his fucking off to spain
after my SO and I had shelled out 150 quid to go and visit him, but I don't
think the lying ignorant twat is worth the effort. I respect the fact that
you don't use a killfile and feel sufficiently aggravated to reply to his
self indulgent whining, but this is what he craves and it encourages him to

I drank a litre of that one afternoon on holiday a couple
of weeks back. Apparently (I honestly have no recollection
(Which is a shame) ) I became very forthright and in fact
downright rude. I told a friend of mines' wife when she
laid into me about being pissed that she was a mad yampy
bitch and to shut the **** up. I then listed a few more
of her shortcomings. Oddly enough things were a tad frosty
the next morning, still are. Result.
