A4130, proposed 40 limit

On the BBC South, regarding this bit

of the A4130 (Gangsdown Hill)

Apparently 5 people have died on this bit of road recently.. I not sure I
understand it myself - if I recall it correctly, it's a three lane stretch
of road with reasonable, if not good, visibility - quite steep, but not
overly complicated.

Still, that bit of the 4130 is strange in that it's got bits you can do
130mph on and bits you perhaps shouldn't, but it looks like you can (jhidden
unctions etc)

Anyway, apparently the local residents are campaigning for a 40 limit and
speed cameras before the summer - I'm almost tempted to say they might have
a point.
Especially considering the plod have been sitting there almost (it seems)
every weekend anyway so it would save some man power.

Hmm, possibly - I'd say the bend with the pub/house on the corner is the
more interesting of the two.

Which, I believe, is what happened - high speed collision.

Another possible.

Camera would work though - very well.

Unmarked Vectra/Mondeo parked in the pub car park. The Jam Sandwich is then
parked in the layby.

They also lurk in one of the turnoffs - where the markings are on the road -
though I've only seen them there once.

Still a nice bit of road though - when people aren't spilling chalk/cement
all over it.
