A36 between Bath and Southampton. Is it sh*t or OK.

    Is it still Ok or is it all 50mph and Gatso's these days?

    Last time I rode it I went like a twat most of the way. Well, all the
    way to the M27.

    There were some speed cameras in West Wellow and also around Wilton
    close to Salisbury but you really need to leave the A36 at Heytesbury
    and take the B390 through Chitterne to Shrewton (across Salisbury
    Plain), joining the A344 at Shrewton and then the A360 at Rollestone
    into Salisbury.
