I was going round the roundabout at Old Street yesterday, in a mixture
of sleet and rain, and there was so much diesel on the tarmac that the
traffic had whipped it up into an emulsion, so that you were
riding/sliding through standing water and diesel-y bubbles.

Which was nice.
