A very enjoyable morning.

Well Boxerboy didn't miss much at the autojumble. Two vans with some SO
brit tat. What a glorious morning for a ride though. Carried on out in
to the wilds and did a circuit I haven't done for years. Kept up for a
while with a couple of guys on big Ducatis who were making progress but
not going stupid. The GFR was singing well despite Champ's ministrations
at Cadwell, and the H rated Diablos inspired great confidence given
their well scrubbed in state. All the mud on the road from tractors
didn't, but it could have been worse. Did my favourite B road that I
don't get out to often these days.

Cup of tea and a wad lunch at the Greasy Spoon where I ogled a very nice
Yam 350 YPVS on a Y plate. The waitresses were also very easy on the
eye. Another fairly sudden lack of fuel moment on the way home. It
really does drink the stuff as I had to go on to reserve at 142 *Kms*.
Fore warned is fore armed and I will looking to fill up at the 'ton up'
    in future.

Now I am going to go and put some oil in the Voxan. I wasn't going to
bother as it may get stripped next week, but I have an alternative plan
to flog it for spares or repair while I am in France. It depends on the
guesstimate from Point de Corde. I reckon a purchaser might want to hear
it running, which if stone cold won't tell them much - though I will be
declaring the presumed fubar bearings in the leboncoin advert. I've even
put the euro dip headlamp unit back on, and I'll be taking all the
documentation with me with a view to possible not coming back with it.

  2. TBC? The Blessed Charlotte? I didn't know that you hung out with the
very best of Radio Four's news readers.

I did mention the well scrubbed in tyres,
Sarnie, sammy, sandwich. Squaddie slang IIRC.
Hoh yuss. I now realise how bullet like the old Dunlops on the GFR had
    become.

A very pleasant temperature. The wee screamer wasn't revving out quite
as well as in the cold at Cadwell on the Friday, but ICBA to mess with
    the jetting.

great voice; fantastic face for radio.

I presume you heard the notorious March '08 giggle incident?

  6. He's not rising to the bait but you definitely got a bite given the
'did you see what Colin said?' conversation I've just had.

I'd dump him if he was.

  7. It was very pleasant and the little one is so damn cute.
Given we've argued about it on here before I doubt it.
