Well, that clarifies a lot. 1 and 2 are fairly accurate. I never
equated any such thing. I pointed out similarities.
I don't believe I ever said, nor did I intend to imply anything like
your two disagreements above. I would agree with your disagreements
and if you can bring out someone who disagrees with our disagreements,
we can disagree with him/her to their face. :)
And I appreciate you throwing 'em out there.

Thanks again, Bill. I appreciate it when folks take the time. I have
a lot of faults and issues and I'd rather be hated for those than for
the ones I appear to have, but don't. I think so, anyway. :)

That's worth hearing again. We need to think and talk about this some
    more.

In other words, you have nothing against him and would only vote
    against him because...
I don't vote straight party either...but only for another reason.

When you vote straight democrat party and have an election where a
republican and liberal were running, your vote wouldn't be cast in
that election and only someone who made the definitive choice to vote
for the candidate would be counted. In essence (ie), you'd be helping
the republican when you vote straight democrat...or vice versa.

However, I also don't vote for or against someone simply based on a
couple clips I saw in the media of them. That's far more lazy than
    just voting straight ticket.
Actually, if you read just above you'll see my thoughts on this. If
you vote for or against someone without knowing anything about them,
you get exactly what you deserve. The only problem is, the rest of us
    have to suffer too.

Oh yeah, quite likely. Just a friendly discussion here really. I don't force
my views on everyone and everyone has an opinion.
It's not like he's being a dick or anything. That's the only thing that
    would really cross a line.
He's certainly not like texdays, who entered into r.m.h. recently and just
    pissed all over everyone.
I am sure Oma is someone I would enjoy riding with.

    Brian,
I am a republican. Please dont try to use logic with me because it will only
serve to confuse me. I am happy with being ignorant in politics and haveing my
    own ideas.
I would only vote for him if he would show me what I want to see and that to
start with is someone who has enough sense not to look like some crazy radical
(No Offense Bill) when talking to the media.
everything else turned blue when I was typing this so I am not even going to
try to decipher what it was but I am sure you made all good points and I will
respect them accordingly unless there were some you did not want me to respect
then I will only show disrespect to those particular ones.
for the ones where you did not care if I respected or did not respect I will
try to look them over and be very middle of the road with them.
so this should all work out in the end.
Thank you for showing and intrest in this topic and responding in such a way
as not to offend anyone reading or responding.

Yes, I have read every one. I'm even now reading the "prequels," but
they're not quite as good as Frank's stuff...

Ah. Frank Herbert. I should have recognized that! :( My wife and I
both enjoyed the first couple of Dune works. They started getting a
    little weird.

I also enjoyed The Santaroga Barrier.

fyyff blah blah blah blah blah blah conditioned response goes here blah
blah blah blah liberal!! blah blah blah blah blah blah, SO THERE!"

    yah, that's pretty much it
i had to use the rush limbaugh dictionary and favorite phrases book from
the library and it's still pretty rough translation.

I don't know if it was directed at Elmer or the dumb-**** just doesn't
know how to respond and meant it for me.

I know Elmer (both here and personally). He and I can disagree on
issues, but I've never known him to kiss someone's ass. Everyone here
knows me (some personally) and I doubt anyone would say *I* kiss
    anyone's ass...more like just the opposite. :)

Now, I'm wondering how talking about voting turned into "fucking a
redneck's ass while french kissing the dude's bandana"? If that's what
he's into, he might want to keep it to himself...or maybe consult
    another viewer or something. :)

assholes, Jerry Springer, or redneck fags who sleep with lesbian
assholes and looking to get on Jerry Springer.

Oh, and no offense intended toward another viewer...that part is just
    ribbing another viewer :)

These are about what I got from it too. Maybe he's unaware, I might
play around with silliness, but I "dumb down" for no one.

The dude is probably having to just "wing it" since Rush got caught
pilled up and had to do rehab. I guess he just made it up from memory
    and what he recalled.

    Who knows?

And just for grins, a stab at Rush:
I guess if he too had been getting blow jobs, he wouldn't have had to
resort to narcotics from dealers on the street. He should've taken the
examples rather than knocking them. Maybe he was unaware that someone
can get a blow job from an ugly woman and the guys (many women too)
still say "yeah! you go!". Even if you buy the best dope around,
people still say "you dope-head loser!".
