    It does say it's a 1928 model. Is that wrong?

  3. Exactly. 1928, my arse. What makes it even funnier, is that by 1928
    the modern (ok, old) British motorcycle was way beyond the "transition
    stage", having passed from leakfree bicycles to oil-shedding
    mechanical dripwagons without any input from the dastardly foreign
    competition.
