    Hi Guys

If anyone's making any future online biking gear purchases, UK shopping
portal Shopfar.com have agreed to give any Motorcycles group member a
gift of 12 free iTunes song codes when they join up. This is an
absolutely free no-strings-attached offer. Shopfar.com is free to
join, does not pass on any details, does not send any spam and, most
importantly, has lots of shopping sites to choose from!

Go to http://www.shopfar.com and join up using the promo code
"MOTORCYCLETUNES" to get the 12 free song gift while stocks last.

First, Google account so abuse address for anyone half-heartedly
    interested -

As for the site, they appear to be based up in edinburgh, domain
registration includes Jay Feeney[1], 16th most elgible man in Scotland.
As he's apparently put together some company of "talented" computer
programmers I'd assume they'd know what spamming is and isn't.

To endear himself to the general public he also runs a "paparazzi" site
(cash for celeb photos), and has done a spot of radio as previously
    spammed in uiuc.soc.gay-men.

    Google knows everything.

Gosh. So what do we have here then; a celeb, a public name no less,
using dubious marketing tactics to push his iffy products?

    Silly.

I wonder if he takes comes up as good in a photo as his victims.

I'm Jay Feeney, the guy who posted the free songs message. I sent this
message to a handful of newsgroups I like, thinking that people might
enjoy Shopfar and appreciate this completely free gift worth £10. I'm
quite new to Usenet and didn't expect people to be mad because they're
given something completely free. Anyway I apologise to anyone who may
    think I wasted their time.

    Best regards

    Jay

  10. Oh you fibber. If you liked UKRM you'd have read the FAQ and would
    have posted accordingly.
What makes you think we'd use your service above any others out there?
Ah bribery. Half this lot don't know what an iPod looks like.
    It shows.
Again if you *liked* UKRM you'd understand the local ethos. Sometimes
it makes a particularly warped kind of sense.
So are there any naked pictures of you on the internet? That may go
some way to appeasing the women and the gay blokes.

  11. **** right off. You've posted this shite all over various groups. Total
spam it is and what makes you think usenet is your personal advertising
    medium?

I notice you only apologise for perhaps wasting anybody's time. What
about actually apologising for the postings?

  12. I dunno, if he really *IS* new to Usenet he might not know about FAQs.
    Well, who knows?
I certainly don't. I understand that Her Britannic Majesty does, though.
It is rumoured that she doesn't take urm though, both of which would
point to a certain lack of wossname.
Ah. I keep getting twats trying to sell me small-caps and penny stox -
stox? WTF are stox? Hopefully, a device for securing the feet of
spammers so we can hurl abuse at them.

And trolls and script-kiddies so something harder might be hurled - such
as rotten fruit and eggs in the former case, and high-speed lead in the
    second.
Well, warped I dig, but sense?
    Don't tempt him!
