Absolutely, and hasn't anyone told him that without an airbox they loose
    power? Amatuers.

Baah BMW riders seem to be lacking in the hoon gene quotient :)

    JL
(but then I think 220HP turbo'd Busa's make perfect sense as well)

  5. What, so your opinion is that if your going to do something crazy, you
should do it in a restrained and sensible fashion?

big (I think 600hp is the current target output for turbo busas these days)

<shamed look> Stubs toe into ground.

Soorrrry Big, I promise not to do that again.

    JL
(more is better but 600Hp from 1.3L is pretty bloody good !)

  7. I suspect the difference is that 220 is easily achievable on stock
internals, I doubt too many of the 500+hp crowd are running exclusively
Suzuki parts in the bottom end...

From memory, I think most of the big hp ones claim to be 1398cc, I'm
guessing thats the "standard" readily available tough crank/rod/piston
    combo.

Oh, and have you read about the yanks who came out to South Aus to try sen
a land speed record? 2 busa motors, one turbo between them, ~900hp, and the
weather didn't cooperate so the had to go back home...

Possibly, it's one of the 2 standard over bore piston sizes IIRC (yes I
did seriously dream about getting a busa motor and putting it in
something at one stage) I'm pretty sure that's a standard wiseco size.
<Boggle > Noice ! I had a flick through the pages and couldn't see that
one straight away - I'll have to come back and have a dig
