I can't help wondering why Suzuki didn't sit up and realise that their
GT range was hopelessly outdated as soon as the Yamaha YR5 and YDS7 hit
the roads. But, they carried on flogging their dead horses and seeing
    sales plummet year on year.

I suppose losing millions trying to make the RE5 hit their bank account
quite hard and took up valuable R+D resources in that time.

Sounds like the sort of thing that might have had a 3rd wheel somewhere...

Referring to the fact that the owner/builder claimed that it was
deliberate, but maybe was just that it wouldn't hold a steady idle. In
fact, it ran very smoothly, so the latter was unlikely.

  7. hehe. well, as it happens, I have a sierra back end with LSD doing
    nothing...

    engine ain't much cop though.

You have to redesign the suspension though, or it look horrible - the sierra
rear suspension is designed around having a body sitting on top of it. Hence
the one I mentioned earlier, which just uses the diff and shafts and hubs, I
    think.
