I filmed a little video of a ride in Sussex, England the other day. My
first attempt at a vid, no music, no special effects... just the raw
'edited' footage care of Windows movie maker.

Nice vid. The rearward facing camera gives a provides a good
impression of speed. And I like the fact the bloke in the Audi felt
the need to overtake into oncoming traffic in his attempt to keep up.
I assume you're riding some sort of scooter type device?

Some folk seem to make more of an effort to keep up when they know
you're riding a scooter for some reason.

Yeh, the scooter type device is a 172cc Gilera Runner, and the camera is
    my Sony PSP.

  5. How did you set that up?

That's mostly down to the soft case being strapped down to the seat,
plus the race crank helps stop the vibes too.

I'll take a photo of the setup, and post it somewhere. It's a soft case
for a PSP strapped down to the seat (through the belt rings of the
case), with a couple of bungees going over it, plus some tape to stop
the zips on the soft case from coming undone or flying about.

Nice vid. One of the links that popped up after I watched yours was:

Very surprised to see the rider get up after that...

I tend not to watch crashing videos. It's more fun watching someone have
a good ride and not crash.

I agree, and when I've mastered how to stick my camcorder on the bike
and upload the results I'll do so (and the nice video plod gave me
after an energetic ride along the A3..)

There's a video on ukrmnova round a section of the TT course with a
rear-facing view. I wondered how muffled the sound would become if you
put a bit of tape over the mic holes. That vid suffers from vibration
    and wind noise.

The 955 engine sounds great though.

None for the estimated 135mph+ for 12 miles, just 3 points for a
previously admitted 97 on the A3M during the same journey. Plod
didn't turn up for the final hearing (1 year after the DPP hadn't
bothered to watch the video), as my brief asked them to, to agree that
speed itself didn't constitute dangerous driving, which was the
charge, and my defense. The magistrates threw the case out after some
hard talking from my solicitor. He was great.

  19. I was wondering more how you got a PSP to film it. Or did you mean you
had a USB cam attached to the PSP?

I gave up after about 25, let it download fully and randomly clicked a
couple of points. To answer your question, based on a random sample, NO.
