    Gentlebodies.

    I have spent this evening in a Swedish hotel bar considering the
    important question: "Is the Blingmobile a classic?".

    For those of you who remain blessedly innocent of the true nature of
    the Blingmobile, I refer you to:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2487836677

    Now, applying the Champ Formula ("classic status" = "age" x "how good
    was it when it was new?" x "special interest multiplier") doesn't
    help.

    Age = 16
    HGWN = ??? It's an injected 6-cylinder 1300cc FFS...
    SIM = ??? It's an injected 6-cylinder 1300cc FFS...

    If there was a "Number of lights" factor in there, it's be a cert...

    So, what say? Hot or Not?

  2. Oh, deffo a classic.

    I really, really, really liked the old Zed Thirteen. I do think the
    Blingmobile is a bit OTT, but that's its appeal.

    Surely there must be better things to do in a Swedish
    hotel...?
    It's not at all to my taste, but what do I know, I was
    really chuffed when I got my Batavus HS50 (orange 70's 50cc
    Dutch moped, could it be any worse?) running again.

    However, that being said the interest factor must be set at
    a fairly high figure (I can't imagine walking by without
    having to stop and have a look), which in my opinion puts it
    in the area of being a classic.
