    My hack GN250 doesn't get garage space and is under a cover. A few days'
    riding in the cack started the rust spots appearing. I washed it before
    I left for Chile (where I still am - back Friday night) and then sprayed
    it all over with WD40 and replaced the cover.. We shall see.
